Term 6 - Road Trip USA
America is an incredible place with a varied landscape and culture. Buckle up and put your sunglasses on. This term we are going on a road trip across the USA.
We will start by visiting the states where native American tribes settled. Using maps, we travel from Broadstairs to the USA and find the names of the states. Children will compare climates between different parts of the USA and the UK and make decisions based on their findings. Research will be carried out into the famous apple pie and children will evaluate, design and make their own delicious version.
All of this will enable the children to show what they have remembered and create a memorable road trip journey.
