Term 5 - The Battle of Britain

During this exciting topic, children will continue to develop a chronologically secure knowledge and understanding of British, local and world history, establishing clear narratives within and across the two World Wars. They will identify connections and trends over time and develop the appropriate use of historical terms. They will understand how our knowledge of the past is constructed from a range of sources. 

Children will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in local history and identify how the locality was affected by major world events.
