Year 5 Creative Careers Film Project!

Our Year 5 children had a wonderful time writing, directing and producing their own mini films over the past few weeks. The Creative Careers Film Project, in partnership with Artswork, gave our children an exciting introduction to careers in the film industry as well as first-hand experience of every stage of the film making process.

Every child had the opportunity to choose a job role they were interested in and complete tasks towards making the film, including; scriptwriter, director, costume designer, art director, producer, film actor, camera operator, sound recordist, unit still photographer and editor.

The children led their film making process and took their roles very seriously, they were so creative, motivated and supportive of one another throughout the programme. They have created some very imaginative and entertaining mini films called ‘Louis the Lost Legend,’ ‘Desire to Draw,’ and ‘The Naughty Elf’ and we look forward to sharing them soon.
