Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory Visitors

St Peter's welcomed staff from Sandwich Bay Bird Observatory this week to work with our year 3 children on their science unit of plants. Through hands-on engaging games and activities, the children learnt about the different parts of a plant and their function, how different plants disperse their seeds and how pollination takes place. It was a wonderful way to finish the unit and helped to cement the children's learning.
