Fantastic Fred Visits St. Peter's!

This week, the Fantastic Fred Roadshow came to St. Peter's, to deliver some important messages to our pupils in a fun and different way.

The Fantastic FRED Experience is an NHS mental health resource for primary aged children. It delivers preventative mental health education in schools, in a way that primary aged children can understand and relate to.

F.R.E.D is an acronym for the four ways in which children can help to look after their own good mental heath:

Food – eating the right foods

Rest – getting enough sleep

Exercise – being active

Digital Devices – managing time online

Children listened to the roadshow in their year groups, in the main school hall. Lots of laughter was heard throughout the day! Each child was also given a wristband as a reminder of what they had heard and learned.
