Zoolab visit for Year 5 WOW day!
Exotic minibeasts came alive in Year 5 this week thanks to a Zoom visit from Zoolab.
Year 5 got their 'Beast Creator' topic off to an exciting start by meeting some real live minibeasts on a Zoom call to Zoolab.
They were introduced to Rosie the tarantula, two tropical stick insects, a mollusc and a leaf insect amongst others and given a wealth of fascinating information about the creatures' habitats, dietary requirements and different ways in which they protect themselves.
Our Year 5 classes also enjoyed asking questions and creating posters about what they had learned.
