Sports Round Up

It's been an action packed couple of weeks for our sports teams!

We took two teams to compete in the first ever Indoor Bowls competition in Cliftonville. Both teams enjoyed learning new skills and were impressive at how quickly they made improvements.

Last Friday we hosted a Rugby festival, welcoming St Laurence Juniors and Chilton. We played two games and were undefeated throughout, playing exciting and well disciplined Rugby to prepare for next Saturday’s 6 Nations tournament. 

On Tuesday, some of our Elite Netball squad competed in a tournament against St. Georges, Wellesley Haddon Dene, Minster and St. Nicholas. The team were undefeated with 3 wins and a draw and only conceded 1 goal and scored 11! Ava B in Year 5 made her debut with the Year 6’s, and scored 4 goals!.

Now we look ahead to the exciting Football Final against Garlinge on Monday,11^th March, in the Les Riggs Cup. Kick off is 4:15pm at Margate FC if anyone would like to come along and support the team.
