iPad Scheme

iPads at St Peter's

iPads have become an integral part of the school day and have enhanced the learning of the children. They are used regularly for a variety of different reasons ranging from carrying out independent research to presenting work in many different ways. All the children gain a good understanding of how to navigate the iPad which means they can effectively use it to support their learning.

We are working with The Birmingham e-Learning Foundation this year, offering an iPad to each of our pupils, payable by monthly direct debit for two years, with the device managed and maintained by the school. There is no obligation for parents who do not wish to take up the offer, or those who may already have a device at home they wish to use.

Typically, we have had a 70% take-up over the last five years. The scheme will only go ahead if there is enough interest from the Year 3 iPad parental survey which is done at the start of their time with us.
