Turner Combined Choir Event

Well-done to our school choir who sang at the ‘Private View Portfolio Art Competition,’ at the Turner Contemporary in Margate yesterday evening.  This event brought together choirs from our working partner schools, Holy Trinity and Palm Bay Primary Schools, in a performance to family, friends and invited guests to the summer exhibition ‘Animals and Us’ – a major exhibition exploring artists’ reflections on the relationship between humans and other animals.

The choirs gave two outstanding performances in the gallery space to a packed audience.  Mrs Dean would like to thank our parents for all their support and encouragement, in particular Mrs O’Sullivan for her help with the choristers.

Although we didn't’t get to meet the ‘special guest’ we certainly enjoyed the chocolate cake and cookies!
